British Vogue March 2014 Issue
I love this fashion photo shoot because it very different to my normal taste in clothes but I surprisingly like it as it is something that I wouldn't normally like.

How to Write a C.V. Do's and Don't's

http://www.jobs.ac.uk/careers-advice/cv-templates/1529/classic-cv-template
Have a look at this website it gives you really good tips on how to write a C.V.

Top 10 Tips for Writing your CV

  1. Use a confident tone and positive language
  2. Concentrate on your achievements not your responsibilities. This means listing things you have done - such as products launched, sales increase, awards won - not rewriting your job description. Quote figures whenever possible
  3. Make your most relevant experience and skills prominent to encourage the employer to read on
  4. Keep it to the point and concentrate on the quality of your achievements, not the quantity
  5. List other skills that could raise you above the competition such as languages and IT skills
  6. Your CV can be far longer than the normal 2 pages of a non academic CV but your first page should include all the best bits
  7. Check thoroughly for correct spelling and grammar - spotting errors is a quick and easy way of weeding out weaker candidates when faced with a mountain of CVs to read
  8. Appeal to your online audience, ensure you have relevant keywords in your CV
  9. Capture immediate attention, Prioritise the content and detail the most relevant information first.
  10. Make sure that you include all Education and prizes awarded, research interest, funding awarded for research projects, other research experience and your publications.  http://www.jobs.ac.uk/careers-advice/cv-templates/1905/top-10-tips-for-writing-your-cv

Top 10 Tips: Worst Things to do on your CV

    1. Lie – the bigger the lies you put on your CV then the better the job you will get
    2. List all the one-day training courses you have ever been on
    3. Include a photo – the more attractive you make yourself look, the better your chances
    4. Use elaborate fonts and colours so your CV stands out
    5. Divulge sensitive information – make sure that you put your NI and passport number on the front page
    6. Change your CV for every position you are applying for
    7. The more gimmicky you make your CV using different shapes and pictures the more improved your chances will be.
    8. Make sure that you list as many referees as possible, especially if you know the Prime Minister.
    9. Always start each sentence in the first person, i.e. I, Me and My.
    10. Try and use as many clichéd terms as possible, I am a highly motivated individual who works well on my own or in a team, with exceptional communication skills and the ability to work under pressure to produce results under tight deadlines. http://www.jobs.ac.uk/careers-advice/cv-templates/1930/top-10-tips-worst-things-to-do-on-your-cv/

Interior Bedroom Designs by Designer Guild

I love this collection of designs for bedrooms because of the way they have explored detail, techniques and colours in their floral designs which some of it has a bit of an ethereal feel to it in their choice of colours.

I love how they have used the colours and details in their florals for their interior design collection and the floral designs look a bit like they could created and painted with water colours rather than printed on to the fabric.
These collections are inspiring my floral designs with the theme called ethereal in my design work while I am drawing my designs and exploring with different medias such as coloured pencils, coloured inks and watercolour paints etc.

I love her paintings because of how she mixes fantasy, fairy tales with sometimes gothic elements in her paintings and it is also nothing like the paintings I have seen before.

Ethereal Theme Fashion

British Vogue, October Issue 2013
I love how the designers have used the florals and fabrics in delicate, light and soft patterns, colours and fabrics in their designs. I also love the scenery of a fashion shoot is looks like it is set in the large garden of a old fashioned country house from the Victorian period, but in a light and very romantic way.

My Fashion icons

These are my fashion icons because I love the way they dress and style their outfits in different ways.

Madonna
I have put down Madonna as one of my fashion icons because she is not afraid to express herself or push the boundaries in her choices of fashion as well as her music.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry
I love her style because it is very unique, colourful and very quirky and she is not afraid to be herself, also I wish I could sometimes steal her wardrobe because I love to sometimes dress very quirky and eccentric.

British Vogue, October 2013 Issue
Alexa Chung
I love her style because she is not afraid to mix designer brands with high street and her style is very tomboyish but at the same time a bit feminine and girly.

British Vogue, October 2013 Issue
Kate Moss
I like how her style has evolved over the years as she has become older she sometimes dresses very glam but I think most of the time her style is very street chic.

Own Images
These are Christianity iconographic pieces which were created during the Gothic period. I had taken photographs of these art pieces while visiting and having a look at the V&A Museum in London after I had visited the Cloth works on that same day earlier.

On this website it tells you the difference between a target market and a target customer.
Abercrombie & Fitch:-

http://www.abercrombie.co.uk/shop/uk/womens-new-arrivals
I would say that Abercrombie & Fitch clothing brand would appeal to young men, women, boys and girls who are under 25 years old because of the use of advertisment in their brand and this brand appeals to the younger crowd in modern society.
DOLCE E GABBANA -
Dolce & Gabbana:-

http://store.dolcegabbana.com/gb/the-new-tuxedo_grd472
I would say that this fashion designer label would appeal to men and women who have a high income and love to wear romantic palettes and heavy embellishment on their clothes.

Primark:-
I would say that Primark appeals to customers who a low income and also those who like to keep up with the latest trends, but at cheaper cost and a fraction of the price you would normally pay if it was a designer brand.
