I have decided to look on the environmental issues in the textiles industry because i think it is important to think about the concerns about the environment in the textiles industry and how can we can improve the earth's atmosphere to make it better, cleaner and safer for future generations.

 http://greencotton.wordpress.com/2008/06/18/synthetic-dyes-a-look-at-the-good-the-bad-and-the-ugly/

This website talks about the issues and dangers of using synthetic dyes in the fashion and textiles industry and i feel that big designer companies and designer should be using dyes which are environmentaly friendly, safer to use and do not harm anybody.

I was shocked about the harmful effects that dyes which are synthetic can have to people who make them and wear them which are caused by the harmful chemicals in the dyes. If the designers and designer companies keep on using these harmful dyes in their work it will make it worse for the environment and future generations.
